Guy E. Grooms, M.D.
A graduate of Brigham Young University in 1985 and Chicago Medical School in 1989, Dr. Grooms completed a surgical internship at Portsmouth Naval Hospital in 1989-90. As a general medical officer in the United States Marine Corp from 1990-93, he served in the Gulf War in 1990-91. He completed his orthopaedic residency at the University of Massachusetts in 1997, in 1997, and spent two years researching articular cartilage reconstruction at the UM Tissue Engineering Lab. Dr. Grooms was certified by AAOS in 2001 by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgeons in 2001.
Jack E. Weaver, M.D.
Primary Care – Sports Medicine
A native of Muskogee, Dr. Weaver is a 1988 graduate of Oklahoma State University and a 1993 graduate of the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine. After completing a residency in family medicine at Michigan State University, Dr. Weaver completed a fellowship in Sports Medicine in June 1997 at the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine – Tulsa through Eastern Oklahoma Orthopaedic Center. He is a Diplomat of the American Board of Family Practice and has a Certificate of Added Qualifications in Sports Medicine. He is a member of the American College of Sports Medicine and the American Medical Society for Sports Medicine.
